BIOCLEAN - self-cleaning glass

BIOCLEAN is made by applying a durable and transparent coating with photocatalytic and hydrophilic effects on the glass surface. The natural effects of sun and rain helps with keeping the glass clean for longer. The glass is therefore easier to clean than other windows.

Thanks to the chemical reaction, photocatalysis causes the breakdown of organic dirt on the surface of the glass and reduces the adhesion of inorganic (mineral) dirt. For this, the hydrophilic chemical reaction causes the glass to be washed by rain (or water) and rinses away the broken particles of organic or mineral dirt. The self-cleaning action is continuously regenerated by exposure to sunlight (UV rays from direct or indirect sunlight).
