Security classes in the window
Windows and balcony doors on the ground floor are the most common targets for burglars trying to get into an apartment. The most common method of burglary is breaking the window sash against the frame.
Safety is primarily ensured by what cannot be seen with the naked eye. As standard our windows, doors and patio doors are equipped with more than the standard number of anti-burglary catches. We also offer a number of additional accessories that will certainly help increase the burglary resistance class of our products.
Elements that affect safety of the window:
two anti-theft catches per sash as standard, alarm sensors in the frame available, fittings of ER1 or ER2 class, availabledoor handles with a key available, alarm loop in the glass pane available, anti-burglary glass pane available.
Anti-burglary fitting
For customers who value their and their relatives' safety, we offer fitting with a higher class of burglary resistance. Technologically refined solutions are the best barrier against theft. Security here is ensured by special pims and hooks that prevent burglary. The hooks are connected to the window frame by means of screws with closed reinforcement. The standard fitting has a precisely specified selection of all elements depending on the size of the window sashes, so that regardless of the dimensions of the ordered structures, the level of safety remains unchanged. If you want to obtain even higher security of the entire window, we recommend choosing safety glass and gluing it to the sash profile, which will constitute an additional anti-burglary barrier.
The number of anti-theft hooks depends on the structure and dimensions of the window.
We divide the classes of fittings into:
ER1ER2
In the ER1 fitting class, we have 4 anti-theft hooks, and the additional elements (e.g. extensions) have standard hooks. In ER2 each element used (even extensions) has to have anti-theft hooks, so in the case of ER2 it can be up to 9 anti-theft hooks (if the window is large enough).
