What is the muntin in the window for?
The muntin bars more and more often play a decorative and structural function. They give the windows an elegant, stylish and unique character. They are an element that refers to the old architectural style. They are mainly used in manor-style, classic or large-glazed buildings.
How to limit the "ringing" effect of internal glazing bars? When internal glazing bars are used, a so-called "ringing" effect may occur during the use of window panes, especially when opening and closing windows or during strong winds. This is a result of vibrations of the glazing bar within the inter-pane space and is not a product defect. To minimize this phenomenon, it is recommended to use inter-pane chambers with a minimum width of 16 or 18 mm.
