Thermal insulation glass
Thermal insulated glass is composed of two, three or four glass panes, where one, two or three are the thermofloat type glass with an invisible layer of combined noble metals (so called low emission layer). A thin, invisible to a naked eye thermally insulating layer passes the light and solar energy to the interior, in the same time preventing the heat transfer from the room to the outside. In the space between glass panes, there is a noble gas argon or krypton which additionally lowers down the heat transfer coefficient. Heat transfer coefficient depends on the number of glass panes in the package and the construction of the package and it is expressed by a symbol "Ug”.
Insulated glass with three chambers and heat transfer coefficient Ug = 0,3 W/(m2 * K) is currently "the warmest” package which can be used for glazing PVC window constructions.
